BSI is hiring a Senior Instructional Designer with a strong background in e-learning training design and development and implementation of standard training design models and theories (e.g. ADDIE). This candidate will also have business development experience or a strong desire to be a part of business development. The position will require one to work on PST. This position can be a hybrid or a remote role.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Knowledge of training theories and principles, including adult learning theory and established industry models of evaluation
• Knowledge of and ability to apply a consultative approach to determine training needs
• Knowledge of and experience with training development methods, including needs assessment and instructional design for remote instructor-led training and computer-based online training
• Experience with development of VR, AR, and Game Development
• Experience with business development including networking, lead generation, sales calls, project scoping, proposal preparation, and making proposal presentations, and assisting in marketing plans for region or market segment

The Senior EHS Instructional Designer position is a full-time salaried role with a comprehensive benefits package.

Senior EHS Consultant Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop learning objectives, outline content, define activity types, and create assessment criteria based upon target audience (client) needs.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Project Managers (PM) across the company to help in knowledge capture and provide thought leadership on Instructional Design to ensure project success.
• Organize and manage multiple projects, including the ability to re-scale client deliverables as scope or timelines change.
• Revise existing content according to Instructional Design best practices and adult learning principles, including graphic and content layout, narrative script, and objective-based scenarios and assessments.
• Create interactive online content using authoring tools such as Articulate Studio and Storyline or similar instructional design tools.
• Develop new business from existing or new customers.

Education/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 8-10 years of Instructional Design experience
• JavaScript authoring skills are required; HTML5 and CSS writing skills are desired
• Gaming design, graphics design, VR and AR experience
• EHS knowledge desired
• Animation experience is desired
• Experience in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Articulate Suite are desired.
• In-person and e-learning training design and development
• Implementation of standard training design models and theories (e.g. ADDIE)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to research gather and organize data from multiple sources.
