SUNY Broome Community College is seeking candidates for a full-time (Provisional) Secretary for the office of the Vice President of Student Development & Chief Diversity Officer. This appointment is provisional pending the satisfactory completion of the Civil Service testing requirement. This position is a management-confidential position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Requirements:
A) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associate's Degree in office technologies, office administration or administrative assistant or closely related field and two years of typing and clerical experience in an office setting which included the use of computer applications to maintain records and produce correspondence; OR
B) Four years of typing and clerical experience in an office setting which included the use of computer applications to maintain records and produce correspondence; OR
C) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of A) and B) above.
Additional Information:
The minimum hourly rate for this position is $27.34
Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
