The Program Director of Adult Career Pathways supports all statewide Integrated Education & Training (IET), Perkins Eligible Career & Technical Education (CTE) Programs of Study, and all other related pathway programming. The Program Director will shape state policy and practice designed to increase and support participation of WorkReady U students in pathways leading to living wage work and further educational opportunities and promote the development and implementation of a statewide Integrated Education and Training (IET) professional learning system for college teams and WorkReady U programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a member of the WorkReady U team developing and implementing the Integrated Education & Training (IET) programs, including contextualized programming leading to certifications
- Serve as a member of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System’s (LCTCS) Career & Technical Education (CTE) team in implementing Perkins Eligible Career & Technical Education (CTE) Programs of Study
- Develop state-level infrastructure for implementation of evidence-based career pathways in which WorkReady U Integrated Education and Training (IET) and Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs of study are designed in conjunction with partners to align with Louisiana’s workforce
- Plan and carry out technical assistance, support, and monitoring to Integrated Education & Training (IET) programs offered across the state to align with Louisiana Community and Technical College System goals, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title II federal requirements, Perkins V requirements, and locally-developed best practices
- Promote Integrated Education and Trainings (IETs) to all WorkReady U students and assist in streamlining and strengthening program referrals
- Explore and expand opportunities for English Language Learners (ELLs) to participate in Integrated English Literacy and Civics Education (IELCE) programs
- Develop, plan, and implement all professional learning offerings, site visits, and technical support to advance adult career pathways throughout Louisiana
- Lead all Integrated Education and Technical (IET) program approval initiatives, including designing application tools, supporting Louisiana Community and Technical College System institutions and WorkReady U program in the application process, and overseeing the program approval process in collaboration with relevant members of the WorkReady U team
- Establish and sustain effective working relationships with all LCTCS colleges to assist WorkReady U and Career and Technical Education program implementation of adult career pathways
- Participate in Integrated Education and Technical (IET) program monitoring and follow-up on compliance issues
- Develop, compile, and disseminate Integrated Education and Technical (IET) professional learning materials
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education :
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
Required Experience :
- Experience in career pathways work and/or adult education
- Experience as a teacher, trainer, or facilitator
- Experience managing and administering large-scale initiatives
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of the statewide WorkReady U network and its services
- Experience with MS Office, Google Suite, and Adobe products
- Basic knowledge of research techniques and using data for decision-making
- Understanding of and commitment to the mission of the Louisiana Community and Technical Colleges and the WorkReady U system
- Advanced working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in both the Google Suite of products and Microsoft products
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays, and unexpected events
- Experience with data analysis and trend identification
