Job Summary/Basic Function:
Create, manage and promote EvCC Sustainability projects; lead energy and utility conservation initiatives, including the Clean Buildings Act; Manage the colleges Facilities Portfolio Management Tool (FPMT) and provide timely reports to the State; Manage Green Fee funding compliance; lead part time hourly and/or work study employees; provide logistical support for large projects.
  • Prepares budget requests, provides advice and information related to financial status and problem areas to higher-level administrative staff; prepares funding proposals for submission to external state and federal funding entities;
  • Gathers and reports GHG and other statistics required by RCWs
  • Leads the Clean Buildings Act initiatives for the college; ensuring regulatory compliance, including mandated deadlines
  • Administers grants and capital funds
  • Creates, manages and promotes EvCC Sustainability Initiatives
  • Engages community in sustainability events and programs such as Styrofoam and battery recycling
  • Partners with Campus Security office on commute trip reduction programs



Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree, or an equivalent combination of experience and education in project or business management or a closely related field.

Five or more years related professional experience or training in one or more the following areas:
  • Fiscal tracking, including reconciliation of complex budgets.
  • High efficiency alternative energy systems or projects.
  • High degree of competency in Project Management, including budget management.



Preferred Qualifications:
  • BOC Certified
  • Experience in community engagement and outreach with a focus on equity and inclusion

Work Hours: Regular business hours, Monday through Friday. Summer schedule is Monday through Thursday. Occasional evenings or weekends may be required to support events.

Salary: $57,324 to $77,028 plus benefits
