The Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Plymouth State University

invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track faculty position at the

rank of Assistant Professor to commence in August 2025. The tenure-track candidate will be responsible for teaching 12 credit hours per semester of undergraduate courses in Criminology/Criminal Justice, establishing and maintaining a research agenda, advising students, and contributing to discipline and university service. Candidates with research and teaching experience in the area of Corrections are encouraged to apply. A PhD in Criminology, Criminal Justice or a related discipline is required. ABD candidates expecting to complete their degree prior to appointment will be considered.
