The Assay Lab Assistant performs a variety of tests, utilizing a variety of equipment while documenting and recording required information.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:00am - 1:30 pm

In this role, the successful candidate will:

• Prepares samples for testing using various types of laboratory equipment.
• Works with instrumentation such as ICP, AA, and Mass Spectrometer.
• Performs work functions and keeps records per approved SOPs and/or laboratory policies.
• Prepares and maintains accurate laboratory records.
• Cleans and maintains work area and all lab equipment and supplies.

What does it take to be successful?

• Scientific background in Chemistry or Biology required. (Combination of education and related work experience will be considered).
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Experience with scales, balances and pipetting.
• Computer experience including Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with instrumentation such as ICP, AA, Mass Spectrometer is a plus.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations ISO 13485, 21CFR Part 820, CMDR SOR/98-282, 93/42/EEC, RDC 16 2013, MHLW MO 169 and TG(MD)R Sch3 preferred.
• Working knowledge of Hazardous Material is a plus.
