The Sheila Y. Oliver Center for Politics and Race in America in the School of Arts and Sciences at Rutgers University-Newark, invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Associate for the 2024-2025 academic year, beginning August 1, 2024. The successful candidate will help to develop and support research and programming for the Center. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a doctoral dissertation in the social sciences and humanities within the last 5 years on topics related to race and politics in the United States. The search committee is particularly interested in candidates whose scholarly focus or work experience includes the political experiences of underrepresented groups.
