Summary of Job Duties:
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will assist with research, from instrument design to journal publication and writing grant proposals. These activities include developing research questions, collecting and analyzing data, and communicating findings from research. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will also be expected to lead by managing projects and engaging with graduate student researchers.

Qualifications:
Candidates for this position should have a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics, or a closely related field, and demonstrated experience in independent research, use of primary and secondary data, and writing academic outputs including research and extension articles. Candidates should have demonstrated knowledge of forecasting, data management, and applied econometrics. Knowledge about production economics, livestock/poultry markets, and USDA data is preferred.
