Strategic Planning and Performance, Consultant - Growth Strategy and Execution

Your Role

The Growth Strategy and Execution team is responsible for the orchestration of strategic planning across the eight lines of business that make up the Growth organization, as well as the execution of strategic and operational priorities for the Consumer lines of business. The Strategic Planning and Performance, Consultant - Growth Strategy and Execution will report to the Senior Manager, Growth Planning. In this role you will support both the planning and execution functions within the Growth Strategy and Execution team, including creating and maintaining reporting and dashboards, driving the improvement of data quality, and coordinating planning activities.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for planning and implementation of moderately complex projects
  • Recommend effective action plans based on key business issues and implement to successful conclusion
  • Be responsible for supporting the facilitation of the annual strategic planning process
  • Assist financial partners to complete business planning and forecasting
  • Assist in overseeing budget planning as part of the annual budget cycle
  • Support resource management activities across multiple initiatives, including management of allocations to projects, and timesheet review and approvals
  • Develop, prepare, and analyze reports and dashboards to inform leadership on progress against targets, risks and issues, delivery on key results, and to seek guidance and support, and present to various levels of management
  • Collect and manage data associated with initiative intake and prioritization
  • Monitor Jira, AgilePlace, and Planview data quality and drive to accuracy and completeness
  • Support additional planning activities as needed including but not limited to meeting scheduling, note taking, materials preparation, and other reporting needs as required

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience
  • Requires demonstrated experience preparing and analyzing reports and dashboards to present to stakeholders or leadership
  • Requires ability to create structure and organize information coming from multiple individuals and teams, in a way that makes the information digestible and meaningful to stakeholders and leaders
  • Prefer prior experience and understanding of the Healthcare industry, and Lean Agile methodology
  • Prefer demonstrated excellence in crafting executive leadership level written communications via PowerPoint

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is: $ 118800.00 to $ 178200.00 for California.

Please note that this range represents the pay range for this and many other positions at Blue Shield that fall into this pay grade. Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.
