We are seeking a dynamic, creative, innovative person to join our team and help us take Beyond the Dome to the next level.

Job Description: The Career Program Manager reports directly to the Career Program Director. The Career Program Manager implements and leads key initiatives of the Beyond the Dome career development program. This person will be responsible for the project management of student engagement programs such as the BTDx certification program and the Imagine A World competition series. The Career Program Manager will provide direction to the Career Program Coordinator in the development of the Peers2Careers Ambassador, and the Operations Coordinator in the analysis of program data.

This position will assess student needs to create initiatives that support the growth and career development of Arts and Letters students. This position will assist the Career Program Director in the identification of employer leads and the cultivation of employer relationships.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Strategic Initiative Implementation
  • Implement all strategic undertakings of the program.
  • Collaborate with the Career Program Director in the oversight and execution of the BTDx certification program and Imagine A World competition series.
  • Develop a feedback strategy, analyze data, lead a student/staff committee to review data, and implement strategies based on data findings to ensure program growth and improvement.
  • Identify an event strategy and goals, and oversee the planning and execution of major events.
  • Execute and ensure consistent application of the Beyond the Dome brand across all initiatives.
  • Create and implement new initiatives that support the professional growth and development of the students of Arts & Letters.
Employer Relations
  • Cultivate and increase engagement of employer relationships.
  • Serve as a program liaison to employers, attend meetings and develop partnerships, as well as respond to inquiries, suggestions, and ideas with creative solutions that make the program’s relationships with the respective employers stronger.
  • Lead, develop, create, and execute employer/student engagement programs and events.
Strategic Partnerships & Communications
  • Oversee and implement a Beyond the Dome communication and engagement strategy for key corporate partners and program stakeholders.
  • Design and execute an engagement strategy to source and cultivate new corporate partners.
  • Collaborate with student board members and the Career Program Coordinator to assist with marketing efforts.
  • Develop and create new content for the different Beyond the Dome media channels.
Student Engagement & Management
  • Work with the Beyond the Dome Student Board members to create and implement new initiatives that support the professional growth and development of the students of Arts & Letters.
  • Support in the oversight of the program’s student workers

This is a five-year, limited-term position. Contingent on funding, the position may be extended.

Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree and
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in a related field
