Job Description:

SUNY Broome Community College is seeking candidates for part-time adjunct instructors teaching in the Physical Education department.

These positions are filled on an as-needed basis and are on-going recruitment efforts.  Applicants are contacted/hired for assignments based on college needs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or Exercise Science is required. A Master's degree in a closely related field preferred.
• Personal Training certification required for certain courses.
• Teaching experience is required; preferably at the community college level.
• Applicants should be comfortable in the learner-centered classroom and have a strong commitment to the community college mission.

Additional Information:

Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
