Major/Essential Functions

Responsible for managing all leave of absence programs for Managed Care employees including, FMLA, Sick Leave Pool, Parental Leave, and other state leave programs.
Responsible for managing Agency Nurse requests to include working with multiple staffing agencies and Managed Care units, and collecting necessary documents for agency nurse staffing.
Provide support to employees in various HR related topics such as leaves, compensation, benefits, payroll, and policies.
Responsible for the talent acquisition and recruitment processes for assigned region to include: posting, screening, background checks, onboarding, and transitioning candidate through the applicant tracking system.
Assist hiring managers with the creation of position descriptions in the ePM system, provide accurate guidance/information to hiring managers regarding performance management policy and procedures.
Assist employees with questions or concerns they have regarding their compensation and/or benefits. Accurately process necessary documents to enact associated changes or corrections.
Assist supervisors with the PASS, ePAF, EOPS, and ePM systems, answering questions and providing support as needed.
Assist in special projects and other areas as necessary. Serve as a back-up HR Generalist for other regions as needed.

Required Qualifications

Requires bachelor's degree OR a combination of education and related experience to equal four (4) years.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in administering leave programs, such as FMLA
SHRM-CP or PHR Certification

Pay Statement

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan website.
