We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Telecommunications RCDD Consultant with 10+ years of experience to join our San Diego team in applying engineering and design skills to a variety of diverse and challenging projects.

The successful candidate will be well versed in the design, implementation, integration and project management of telecommunications and data communications technology and related infrastructure. We value motivated individuals with diverse experience, the ability to think conceptually, and the focus to deliver quality engineering services. Applicants must be comfortable consulting to clients and working with a multi-discipline engineering team. Your knowledge and understanding of workflow between engineering disciplines will allow you to collaborate and coordinate with our internal multi-discipline teams as well as with clients, vendors, and contractors as appropriate.

Skills, Knowledge, and abilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their communication infrastructure needs and identify business opportunities.
• Lead the design and implementation of communication distribution systems, including voice, data, video, and security networks.
• Manage all aspects of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers and technicians, fostering their professional development.
• Conduct comprehensive site surveys, assess existing systems, and recommend strategic upgrades or improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional multi-discipline teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
• Prepare detailed project proposals, budgets, and timelines, and present them to clients for approval.
• Oversee project progress, conduct regular meetings with clients and stakeholders, and address any issues or concerns.
• Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices to ensure innovative and compliant designs.
• Ensure all projects meet regulatory requirements and adhere to safety standards.

• Bachelors of Science in an engineering or related discipline
• BISCI, RCDD Certification Required.
• 10 + years of relevant engineering/design work experience
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage effort on multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
• A valid driver's license and driving record that meets Coffman's stringent requirements are required.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of accountability.
• Willingness to travel and provide support at job sites.
• Professional presentation skills
• Prior experience working on federal, municipal, healthcare, commercial, and hospitality projects.

Expected Annual Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00.
