The Corporate Payroll Manager will be responsible for performing accurate and timely processing of multi-state payrolls. This individual will exercise excellent judgment in carrying out the details of the work according to applicable regulations, company policies and procedures. They must maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity to ensure confidence and protection of the integrity of the payroll operations and information. A qualified candidate must also be able to perform each of the following responsibilities satisfactorily. The nature of this role is highly operational and is heavily geared towards input and production of the payroll, including the regular biweekly process plus special payments such as bonuses, commissions and other one-time payments. This person should have comprehensive knowledge of the entire payroll production methodology, a solid understanding of payroll, be highly process oriented and have excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Process payroll for a rapidly growing corporate population of 5500+ employees.
  • Oversee and manage daily payroll operations, verifying accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.
  • Ensure high volume of payroll inquiries are addressed in correct and timely manner.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on company timekeeping procedures, payroll policies, compensation structures and 401K.
  • Familiar with all commission calculation procedures and own assigned commission processes from beginning to end.
  • Generate advanced ad-hoc payroll reports to leadership upon request.
  • Provide support and assistance on special projects and other requests as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of payroll functions.
  • Confidently navigate between various systems and effectively use resources to research and problem solve.

Required Qualifications:

The experience and education for this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Prior payroll experience in the Healthcare Industry strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Advanced Excel knowledge is required
  • Demonstrated expertise in complex commission processing
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to new systems and processes as implemented
  • Proactive thinker able to foresee and solve potential future issues
  • Must be effective at multi-tasking and reevaluating priorities throughout the day
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Dayforce is strongly preferred
  • Customer service oriented
  • Operate under high sense of urgency

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be an annual salary of $120,000 to $140,000.

The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager's discretion.
