TEACHING ADMINISTRATOR - Criminal Justice Studies/Public Safety Coordinator

FULL TIME

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Administrative, 12-month, non-tenure track staff position is responsible for teaching criminal justice courses; curriculum development and the staffing, supervision, observation and evaluation of Adjunct Instructors. Serves as the chief security officer of the College and oversees the College's security operations. Ensures compliance with the Clery Act, Title IX, and VAWA. Requires flexible schedule: days, evenings, and some weekends, as needed.

EDUCATION: Requires Master's degree or higher in Criminal Justice or related field

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: 5-10yrs. experience as a law enforcement professional required; minimum 3 semesters experience in college teaching and supervision, preferably at the community college level; excellent interpersonal, organizational and computer skills.

SALARY: Commensurate with experience, salary range up to $80,000.
