Professor of Law (1) Full-time, Continuing Appointment. 

Assistant Professors (Level A or B), (2) Full Time, Fixed Term Appointments for 5 Years.

The Faculty of Law is seeking to appoint to Teaching and Research positions three academics who are inspirational legal educators with excellent academic records who value the importance of engaging with and training law students; who will serve as models of professional integrity and will demonstrate by way of distinguished legal scholarship a commitment to continuing improvement of the legal system, locally, nationally and internationally; and who will contribute to the collegiality of the Faculty.  

 

About the person

Specifically, The Faculty is seeking:

  • (1) one new appointment at the level of Professor with expertise and an international reputation in public law, administrative law, constitutional law and/or criminal law.
  • (2) two new appointments at the level of Assistant Professor (A or B) with expertise and an emerging reputation in one or more areas of legal specialisation.

The successful candidates will contribute to the faculty's teaching and research activities, engage in related professional activities, and provide service support to the Faculty and University. They will be a recognised leader and exemplars in their area of expertise, with a teaching, research, and service record commensurate with the level of appointment.

Salary details

The salaries for these positions are outlined below and will be negotiated commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience.Salary packaging options are availablefor eligible employees.
