Summary of Position
The University of New Hampshire (UNH) invites applications for a full-time faculty position of Lecturer of Computer Science in the Applied Engineering and Sciences Department at the UNH Manchester campus. UNH actively creates an educational environment that fosters diversity, inclusion, and quality engagement for all. This position is a non-tenure track appointment, with a one-year renewable contract to begin the Fall semester of 2023. Candidates will be expected to teach a variety of computing courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level with a focus in systems and development. The teaching assignments will be courses in systems software, cloud computing, system architecture, system integration, database technologies, as well as fundamentals in computing and other related courses. A typical course load is three courses per semester.

Acceptable Minimum Qualifications
This position has an anticipated start date of August 2023. Qualified candidates are expected to have earned at least an M.S. in Computer Science or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates who 1) have experience working with college-age and non-traditional students; 2) work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students as well as diverse community groups; and 3)demonstrates the ability to teach effectively in a dynamic and innovative learning environment.
