Full Job Description

The Department of Microbiology/Immunology at Wake Forest School of Medicine is seeking a motivated, hardworking and innovative-thinking Post-Doctoral candidate to join a cutting-edge immunology research team. The research focus of the lab is to understand roles of IL-17 producing cells in the initiation and development of autoimmune diseases. The goal is to identify novel drug targets for developing effective therapeutic treatment. The candidate will perform flow cytometry, ChIP-sequencing, RNA sequencing, and murine disease models to investigate the roles of T cells in the autoimmunity.

The successful candidate will have PhD or MD degree with strong background in molecular biology, cell biology and immunology. The candidate is expected to be able to work independently and collectively, and unfold his/her high potential and enthusiasm in a collaborative research environment.
