Job Summary

The Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning is looking for two part-time, temporary, admissions assistants to work from December 2024 through March 2025. Reporting to the graduate recruiting and admissions coordinator senior, (our organizational chart), you will provide application processing support. You are focused and detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This is a remote position with flexible hours that will start in early December with paid training. Preference may be given to candidates available to work part-time between the Christmas Day and New Year's Day holidays.

Responsibilities*

Expected workload by month (minimum to maximum, hours are flexible):
December 2024: 5-15 hours/week
January 2025: 20-40 hours/week with tight deadlines
February 2025: 10-30 hours/week
March 2025: 5-20 hours/week (end date depending on the needs of the college)

The selected candidate(s) will be required to have their own personal computer (with an operating system that supports internet-based softwares provided by the University of Michigan) and reliable high-speed internet access (no DHL) in order to complete assigned work.
