Lobby Screener - CGH- Gold Beach

PLEASE NOTE: While this position may work up to full time hours, it is a temporary position that will be utilized for an indefinite period of time as we continue to move through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Essential Functions:
Cordially greets everyone upon arrival to the facility. Communicates courteously and effectively using respectful language with patients, families, visitors and staff; treats all with respect and dignity.

• Directs/escorts patients and visitors; provides information based on symptoms.
• Cleans and sanitizes surfaces, wheelchairs and other equipment as needed. Orders supplies as needed.
• Asks patients/visitors COVID-19 screening checklist questions. Checks patients/visitor temperatures when requested. Provides protective masks to patients/visitors as appropriate using current Oregon Health Authority (OHA) guidelines.
• Must maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
• Other duties as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the team and organizational performance in accordance with Curry Health Network’s Mission, Vision and Shared Values.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be able to travel to various campuses for work throughout Curry County.
• Must have prior experience with and be able to demonstrate basic email and computer skills.

• Compassion and a desire to help patients.
• Attention to detail with the ability to be flexible, organized and function calmly under stressful situations.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work with people in close situations, using excellent communication and listening skills.
• Must have good balance and communication.
• Must be able to work in fast paced environment remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including a mask, at all times while on the premises.
• The physical activities of this position are described below and include pushing patients of various weights in wheelchairs.
