MAINTENANCE/ GROUNDSKEEPER
OLNEY CENTRAL COLLEGE | OLNEY, IL

DESCRIPTION: The Maintenance/Groundskeeper is responsible for performing mowing, trimming, and landscaping within scheduled frequency; performing routine inspections, and reporting conditions/safety hazards to supervisor. They will assist with the overall maintenance of the college’s buildings, equipment, and grounds which includes ensuring buildings and grounds are secure and maintained in a safe and attractive
manner; performing minor equipment, plumbing, and building repairs.

Other duties include limited carpentry repairs; assistance with indoor custodial tasks such as moving furniture and equipment; and setting up for campus events and cleaning tasks.


QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must have an understanding of use of chemicals such as pesticides. A valid class C driver’s license and the ability to lift 50 lbs. on a continuous, repetitive basis also required. Preference will be given to applicants with related work experience in grounds maintenance.


WAGES: $14.50 per hour
