President/Chief Executive Director

The Lynchburg Community Action Group, Inc. is now accepting applications for it's President/CEO position. Leadership of this organization includes oversight for multiple federal programs including early childhood development, housing services, weatherization program, employment services, and other programs that assists over 1,800 individuals each year. The President/CEO oversees a staff of 70 and a budget of $5.5 million, assuring both excellence and a strict assures that Lyn-CAG works collaboratively with its community partners, advocates for individuals and families through the Community Action network and other advocacy groups, and provides overall direction in the implementation of federal, state, and private grants. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's with a Master's preferred in a related field and 5 years related experience in non-profit organizational management. Candidates with substantial community action leadership experience are encouraged to apply. Applications with a balance of education and experience will also be accepted.

The position is based in Lynchburg, Virginia and requires some travel. A valid driver's license, excellent driving record and reliable transportation are required.
