| Posting Summary | Rutgers University Correctional Health Care is seeking Part Time Licensed Practical Nurses for Adult Diagnostic Treatment Center, located in Avenel, NJ. The Licensed Practical Nurse skillfully administers total patient care based on the individualized needs of assigned patients and families according to professional nursing standards. Under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse provides technical nursing care to assigned patients, performs treatments and procedures within established guidelines, and provides a safe and therapeutic environment.

| COVID-19 Immunization Requirement | Rutgers University requires all new employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the employee a medical or religious exemption. Employees who are not eligible for a booster at the time of an offer of employment provide proof they have received a booster upon eligibility and upload proof of same. | Physical Demands and Work Environment | As a first responder must have the physical capacity to perform CPR for at least 10 minutes. Physically able to assist in lifting and rotating patients who are unable to ambulate (up to 50 pounds). |
