The Natural Resource Economics Program at the University of Florida, Southwest Florida Research and Education Center, Immokalee, FL is seeking a highly motivated, dedicated postdoctoral research associate to conduct innovative research in the areas of practice adoption, conservation policy design, and risk management. The focus of this position is on conducting problem-oriented and policy relevant research developing econometric models to understand the economic and behavioral incentives for best management practice and technology adoption and their environmental implications.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in agricultural economics, environmental and resource economics, energy economics, operations research or related field and an outstanding ability to perform thoughtful, critical quantitative analysis. Applicants must have or be able to obtain a Florida driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in computational methods linking economic models with biophysical and hydrological models, econometric methods, survey design, spatial analysis, excellent communication skills and an interest in working with interdisciplinary researchers is preferred.
