Functional Evaluation of BRCA2 Variants and Identification of Genetic Interactors of BRCA2

Job Description


The Genetics of Cancer Susceptibility Section in the Mouse Cancer Genetics Program at NCI is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to identify novel genetic interactors of BRCA2 and to evaluate the functional significance of BRCA2 genetic variants using CRISPR-based technologies in mouse embryonic stem cells and in mouse models. Qualifications:

Applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. or equivalent degree. A strong background in molecular biology and cancer genetics is required. Knowledge of DNA repair and/or Bioinformatics is desirable. Candidates must have excellent communication skills. The position is available immediately. Mouse Cancer Genetics Program offers a challenging, stimulating and collaborative research and training opportunities to postdoctoral fellows.
