Position Summary

This is a part-time postdoctoral position. We seek applicants whose research interests and clinical research experience will contribute to the aims of the project, pending grant funding. Under supervision of the PI, the incumbent would provide Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) to pregnant women who have elevated levels of depressive symptoms, as part of a randomized clinical trial methodology, to examine the primary aims of whether reducing depression during pregnancy can affect infant risk mechanisms hypothesized to confer risk to later psychopathology. The term of this position will be for one year with the option to continue if funding is available.

Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. Clinical Psychology, Human Development, or a related field.
  • Experience providing clinical care and performing evidence based interventions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge, and/ or research interest in mood disorders, especially maternal perinatal depression, mental health services among underserved and predominantly minority populations.
  • Experience working in healthcare settings such as hospitals Experience working with pregnant/postpartum women.

Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Salary Grade Number:
The salary grade for the position is UC.

Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $27,418-$33,299.

The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
