Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic post-doctoral candidate to work on a 3-year NASA funded research project. The overarching goals of the project are to 1) leverage a large and ongoing water quality monitoring program to assess long-term trends, and 2) to assess the statistical efficacy and accuracy of remotely sensed products available through a Google Earth Engine pipeline being developed by Co-PI Silsbe for Missouri reservoirs. We are interested in collaborative and keen candidates that have a strong background in limnology and statistical analysis. While the position includes summer fieldwork in 2023 and 2024, we are open to candidates based out of either MU (Columbia MO) or HPL (Cambridge MD). We offer a competitive salary, medical coverage, and opportunities for professional development. Only applicants within 5 years of receiving their Ph.D. with either a limnology or oceanography background will be considered.
