Location : ICC Multimedia Center
Employment Type : Part Time
Compensation : $12.00 - $12.00 / Hour
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Office Specialist in the American Indian Studies Dept. is a temporary, part-time position in which employees will assist department staff and faculty with a variety of clerical and organizational duties including:
- Preparing and organizing course materials
- Helping to facilitate diversity programming throughout the year
- Assisting in recruiting activities
- Grading coursework and entering grades
- General clerical duties as requested
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
- Must maintain at least half-time enrollment while employed
- Must meet financial aid eligibility requirements
- Must be a current ICC student in good academic standing
- Must be able to work well with diverse populations
- Must have the ability to gain an understanding of cultural viewpoints of a differing origin
- Must have general knowledge of computers and computer graphic capabilities
- Must have ability to work over semester breaks
Preferred Qualifications:
Some knowledge or experience with smart classroom technologies
