American Indian Studies - Office Specialist


Location : ICC Multimedia Center

Employment Type : Part Time

Compensation : $12.00 - $12.00 / Hour

The Office Specialist in the American Indian Studies Dept. is a temporary, part-time position in which employees will assist department staff and faculty with a variety of clerical and organizational duties including:

  • Preparing and organizing course materials
  • Helping to facilitate diversity programming throughout the year
  • Assisting in recruiting activities
  • Grading coursework and entering grades
  • General clerical duties as requested

Required Qualifications:

  • Must maintain at least half-time enrollment while employed
  • Must meet financial aid eligibility requirements
  • Must be a current ICC student in good academic standing
  • Must be able to work well with diverse populations
  • Must have the ability to gain an understanding of cultural viewpoints of a differing origin
  • Must have general knowledge of computers and computer graphic capabilities
  • Must have ability to work over semester breaks

Preferred Qualifications:

Some knowledge or experience with smart classroom technologies
