Part-time Project Management Instructor

Job Description

The Continuing Education Department of Penn State Berks invites applications for a part-time instructor position in the non-credit Project Management Certificate to teach Project Initiation and Planning and Project Scheduling and Integration.

Requirements :

  • A master’s degree in a related field is preferred along with industry experience leading projects.

  • In addition, the successful candidate must either have demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community, or describe one or more ways they would envision doing so, given the opportunity

The start date for the position is fall 2022. The position is a one semester, non-tenure track appointment with the possibility of reappointment. All applications will be considered until the position is filled. Employment will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
