Summary of Job Duties:
The Classical Education Research Lab Postdoctoral Fellow is offering a two-year resident research fellowship at the postdoctoral level beginning in the summer of 2023. The fellow will work with Dr. Albert Cheng and engage in independent projects that are related to the Lab’s focus. Additionally, the fellow will be expected to collaborate with the Lab’s ongoing research and programs. This includes but is not limited to establishing partnerships with schools to conduct original research, implementing interventions data collection and analysis, manuscript preparation, and disseminating results.
Qualifications:
- Earned doctorate in from an accredited institution of higher education within the last five years or conferred by the start of employment
- Evidence of refereed publications and presentations
- Expertise in classical education
- Experience in classical education
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, and students and collegially work as a part of a team
- Knowledge and expertise in conducting empirical or non-empirical scholarly research
- Knowledge and expertise in classical education
- Intellectual virtue skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to disseminate research findings in manuscript form and orally in seminars and scientific conferences
