Education & Evaluation Manager

LOCATION: US/Remote

The Education and Evaluation Manager is responsible for implementing educational and evaluation programs across different Momentum initiatives, reporting to the Director of Education and Evaluation.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project manage Momentum’s evaluative process:
    • Coordinate the development, distribution and implementation of new evaluation tools to appraise the success of Momentum programs.
    • Manage the relationship with external evaluators and consultants.
    • Oversee strategies for raising and maintaining high survey response rates.
    • Develop reports to analyze the results of surveys, and helps to disseminate relevant recommendations based on survey findings.
    • Oversee improving ways for Momentum’s 300 Partner Organizations to access pre- and post- trip survey data and, along with Program Staff, helps Partners effectively use the information.
    • Project manage the work of updating, implementing, and reporting on Momentum’s screening of Yearlong Journey applicant compatibility from different global regions in over 30 countries.
  • Project manage the creation of educational resources:
    • Coordinate editing, copyediting, and translation.
    • Interface with marketing on graphic design.
    • Draft internal and external communications.
    • Coordinate and compile content and communications created by other staff and consultants.
    • Project manage the effective dissemination educational resources.
  • Project manage education publications:
      • Year of Growth
      • Trip Journal
      • Soul Full: Gateways to Jewish Prayer
      • The Art and Practice of Living Wondrously
  • Project manage Circles, Momentum’s cohort-based learning platform.
  • Assist staff with technical tools such as Asana, Microsoft Excel, and Survey Monkey.
  • Lend support to other organization- and program-related tasks as needed.
  • Other relevant tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required
  • Nonprofit project management experience required
  • Strong written communication skills required
  • Desire and ability to work effectively with a team
  • Detail oriented and able to balance multiple projects concurrently
  • Consistent workplace professionalism
  • Experience with evaluation in a nonprofit setting required
  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Hebrew language abilities an advantage
  • Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) an advantage
  • Ability to work nontraditional hours (evenings and Sundays) as needed to communicate internationally and
    participate in relevant programs
  • Commitment to Israel and a desire to promote Momentum’s mission
