Job Description

A postdoctoral position is available with the X-LAB at the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, University at Buffalo. We develop large-scale AI software and hardware systems to accelerate AI innovations in various societal impactful applications, such as sustainability and education.

The position will require the potential candidate to perform the following major job duties:
  • Conduct advanced and independent research with consultation of PI in the related research areas.
  • Publish high quality journal and conference papers in known venues of the field.
  • Mentor and lead junior researchers to carry out their respective research topics.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree (PhD) with track record of research experience in GPUs, FPGAs and large-scale software and hardware system optimizations
  • Expertise in software development & algorithmic design
  • Peer-reviewed publications
  • Strong communication skills
  • Less than 5 years of prior postdoctoral experience.
  • Candidates who are expected to defend their PhD dissertation within 6 months encouraged to apply.
