RegularJob Description Summary
Responsible for performing testing activities in the College’s instructional and placement
testing center, providing testing support to students and faculty utilizing the college’s testing
facilities.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years’ related experience or required course work/certification.
Criteria
• Provides testing/proctoring support to students and faculty utilizing the college’s testing
facilities.
• Obtains and maintains proctor certification for all testing, including placement,
admission, certification, and any other test administration conducted by the Testing
Center.
• Administers placement, instructional, certification and other exams.
• Communicates with faculty regarding policies and procedures. Communicates testing
instructions in a friendly, courteous, and clear manner.
• Requests and inspects valid identification of students wishing to use the testing center.
• Utilizes internet and local network software to prepare and print test scores.
• Utilizes Internet and local network to administer instructional on-line tests.
• Assists in maintaining appropriate assessment atmosphere. Evaluates student needs
and requirements by reviewing test history.
• Assists students with keyboarding techniques required for testing via computer.
• Maintains student records.
• Maintains filing of student exams.
• Assists with preparation of testing materials.
• Prepares instructional materials. Processes completed tests.
• Maintains test security.
• Assists in scoring of some exams. • Accepts telephone inquiries and contact with general public.
• Maintains cordial and cooperative working relationship with college community.
• Performs other related work as required

Job Requirements
1. Applicants must be able to work the following schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday,
and Friday, 8:00am until 12:30pm.
2. Work schedule subject to change based upon department needs.
3. Applicants must have reliable transportation.
4. Applicants must work as scheduled during peak testing periods
5. Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
6. As required by the 1986 Immigration Act, be prepared to present acceptable
documentation showing your identity and that you are a U.S. citizen or an alien who is
authorized to work.
