West Virginia University Research Corporation is seeking applications for a (Hybrid) Post Doctoral Researcher with the School of Phamacy (Pharmaceutical Systems amd Policy)
About the Opportunity
The West Virginia University Research Corporation is seeking applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Pharmaceutical Systems and Policy in the WVU School of Pharmacy. Candidates with a strong background in primary data collection (e.g., surveys, questionnaires) are encouraged to apply. Experience in behavioral interventions would be desirable but is not required. The research is funded by the American Cancer Society.

What you’ll do:
- Work on an intervention to promote sun safet
- Collaborate with principal investigators at WVU and community pharmacists, and requires the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Present research at both international and local conferences and submit in peer-reviewed journals.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or related doctoral degree in social science, public health, or pharmacy administration.
- Experience in working with the public.
- Experience in study design.
- Experience in conducting interventions or willingness to learn.
- Ability to work with the rural Appalachian population and interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
The ability to travel to WVUs regional campuses and/or within the multi-state area is required.
