SKYCTC is one of sixteen separately accredited colleges that comprise the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). The college operates six campuses and serves ten counties in south-central Kentucky. The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Society of Human Resource Management has named Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College one of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky 2022 for the eighth time. SKYCTC was also named an Aspen Prize Top 150 U.S. Community College.
