Assistant/Associate/Full Professor - Department of Management

Job Description

Position: The Department of Management within Auburn University’s Harbert College of Business seeks to fill a tenure-track position in organizational behavior and/or human resource management at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level with a start date of August 2023.
Responsibilities: The person hired will teach courses in organizational behavior and/or human resource management at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The specific courses taught are negotiable with the chair of the Department of Management.
The person hired will be expected to maintain a record of consistent publication in elite scholarly journals, demonstrate teaching proficiency, and provide some institutional service. In addition, participation in the Department of Management’s doctoral program is expected. Participation might include working with doctoral students on research papers, mentoring doctoral students, recruiting doctoral program applicants, and/or serving on dissertation committees.

Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications: Applicants must possess a doctorate in organizational behavior, human resource management, management, I-O psychology, or a closely related business field before the date of employment. Candidates’ academic concentration and research programs should be in areas directly related to organizational behavior and/or human resource management. Applicants must provide evidence of excellence in research and teaching. Applicants should possess accomplishments commensurate with the rank sought.
Candidates must meet eligibility requirements to work in the U.S. at the time the appointment begins and be able to continue working legally for the term of employment.
