FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.

Lehman College - CUNY is currently seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach a variety of courses in Business, Accounting and Economics in the School of Business during the Fall Semester (August - December) and the Spring Semester (January - May) of the academic year 2022-23 and beyond.

Courses that need coverage for (but are not limited to) include Principles of Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Auditing, Advanced Accounting, Principles of Management, Strategic Management, International Business, Business Law, Business Statistics, Labor Relations, Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Human Resource Management (undergraduate and graduate), Employee Training and Development (graduate, and Finance courses (undergraduate and graduate level), Introduction to Macroeconomics, Introduction to Microeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, Intermediate Macroeconomics, Economic Statistics, Mathematical Economics, International Economics, Managerial Economics, Money and Banking, Labor Economics, Health Economics, and Consumer Economics.

Adjunct faculty perform primarily teaching but if assigned two courses, they are paid 15 professional hours during the semester to provide service in the form of office hours and for attending meetings and workshops.

QUALIFICATIONS

For Adjunct Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor:

Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required is the ability to teach successfully.

For Adjunct Lecturer:

Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.

Candidates will be required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment. Exemption (medical or religious) requests to this requirement will be considered in accordance with applicable law. Being fully vaccinated is defined for this purpose as being at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen. Final candidates must be fully vaccinated as of their first day of employment.

COMPENSATION

$46.49- $63.06, CUNY offers faculty a competitive compensation and benefits package covering health insurance, pension and retirement benefits, paid parental leave, and savings programs.
