Full-time Professor/Assistant Professor/Postdoc in Atmospheric Chemistry (observation or modeling)/Applied Meteorology/Environmental Geochemistry
Applications are invited for three full-time faculties as Professor/Assistant Professor/Postdoc in Atmospheric Chemistry (observation or modeling)/Applied Meteorology/Environmental Geochemistry at Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology (NUIST).
Main Responsibilities:
Applications are invited for positions of Professor/Assistant Professor/Postdoc. The appointee is expected to teach courses and do research in Atmospheric Chemistry (observation or modeling)/Applied Meteorology/Environmental Geochemistry.
- To teach undergraduate and graduate students
- To supervise graduate and/or undergraduate students
- To apply for research projects and funding
- To maintain active in scientific research
Person Specification:
Essential
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Atmospheric Chemistry/Applied Meteorology/Environmental Geochemistry
- Appropriate research experience in basic or applied areas in Atmospheric Chemistry/Applied Meteorology/Environmental Geochemistry
- Independent research capabilities
- Ability to teach courses in Atmospheric Chemistry/Applied Meteorology/Environmental Geochemistry
- High proficiency in English
Desirable
- Postdoctoral experience
- Teaching expertise in Atmospheric Chemistry/Applied Meteorology/Environmental Geochemistry
- Experienced in research in related fields
Salary:
Annual salary of RMB 350,000-1000,000RMB (before tax), with a settling-in allowance of 100,000+ RMB (before tax) depending on qualifications and experience;
Social Insurance;
International travel allowance of 10,000-15,000 RMB per year.
For outstanding candidates, the salary and welfare are negotiable.
