Adjunct Instructor Pool - Management Analytics

JOB SUMMARY:

The College of Professional and Graduate Studies at Southern Nazarene University (SNU) is seeking adjunct instructors in Graduate Programs in Business (GPB) in the area of Management Analytics beginning July 2022. This will be for the Tulsa, OK campus. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Functions:

• Teach on-ground Management Analytics course. Classes meet one evening per week from 6:00 pm to 10:00 p.m.

• Plan lessons using prewritten curriculum that address particular learning outcomes

• Commit to developing a diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning environment

• Use technology to enhance instruction and assessment, including Zoom

• Administer and grade assessments to measure student learning

• Maintain accurate grade and attendance records within the timeframe directed by the GPB office

• Utilize Canvas, SNU’s Learning Management System

• Commit to promptly respond to and regularly communicate with students and the GPB office

• Maintain a strong commitment to teaching excellence, scholarship, and integration of faith and learning

Required Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in the discipline of Business, Management, Analytics, or a related field. ABD candidates will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three years of successful teaching experience

• Demonstrated experience with curriculum delivery best practices

• Strong oral and written communication skills and adeptness in APA

Graduate Programs in Business is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs
