Job Description
- Project and exercise a degree of confidentiality essential in the execution of administrative duties.
- Maintain friendly and professional liaison with faculty and staff
- Maintain front desk area with current flyers, pertinent class information, and up to date literature
- Greet people and answer telephone calls at front desk
- Take registrations by phone and in person for Workforce and Continuing Ed classes
- Create continuing education and workforce class folders for each class as needed
- Set up classes in Banner system
- Prepare and send company invoices for applicable classes
- Contact students for class info call backs & class reminders.
- Prepare certificates (completion, participation, and/or CEU) for classes as needed.
- Order office supplies as needed.
- Type and mail/email correspondence, EMDC reports, and set up folders/files as required
- Establish meetings, provide communications, and other support as required for activities related to Workforce Grants & Development
- Get and/or receive mail (daily) and messages and help maintain calendar for Workforce Grants & Development
- Assist with monthly credit card reconciliation as needed.
- Make workforce deposits to the Business Office (daily)
- Pick up/deliver mail on rotation (daily)
- Everify for new adjunct instructors as needed
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required

- Excellent teamwork, confidentiality, and customer service skills
- Proficient use of computer/technology, esp. Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work well with diverse groups of people including faculty, staff, students, and community members.
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- AA Degree preferred
- Experience in an office environment and data entry preferred.
- Additional experience in customer service, education, or related field preferred.
