Partner with the best The Lead Data Scientist will work closely with other data scientists and analytics engineers as part of a cloud analytics team that will be responsible for curating and analyzing large sets of business and operations data of customers across several industry verticals. This is an opportunity to make an impact across multiple industries in a fast-paced environment where rapid prototyping and experimentation are prized. As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be responsible for: Designing and deploying Machine Learning algorithms to solve key problems such as anomaly detection for system reliability, predictive maintenance, process optimization, domain-specific language models, and production optimization etc. Collaborating with data and subject matter experts from BHC3 and its customers to seek, understand, validate, interpret new data elements. Setting up and promoting rigorous processes for code review, data quality assessment and engineering reviews. Presenting projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior business leaders within technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teams. Tracking, sharing and disseminating state of the art in ML/AI and industrial analytics with BHC3 data science team and with broader data science community. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will have: MS or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in Data Science, machine learning, applied statistics and probabilistic modeling (Preferred) Preferably, 1+ years of experience building complex deep learning models with large scale data. Strong mathematical background (linear algebra, calculus, probability and statistics). Experience with scalable ML (MapReduce, Spark ML, Spark Streaming). Ability to lead a team and projects. May work both independently and in a team. You are best known for helping your team succeed. You can focus on business practicality and the 80/20 rule; very high bar for output quality, but recognize the business benefit of "having something now" vs "perfection sometime in the future" Strong programming experience in Python and python visualization frameworks Excellent verbal and written communication with an ability to craft a compelling story and adjust technical depth according to the targeted audience.
