Job Description
The University of Southern Indiana’s Management and Information Sciences Department, housed in the Romain College of Business, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Management to start in Spring 2023 or Fall 2023. This position entails teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the Management discipline, maintaining an active program of scholarship leading to publications in quality peer-reviewed journals, and engaging in university service. Qualified candidates must have earned a doctoral degree in Management or a similarly related field. ABD considered at the rank of Instructor if doctoral degree is not conferred by hire date.
The Department of Management and Information Sciences is uniquely situated to offer students exposure to broad management areas such as project management, human resource management and entrepreneurship. USI’s Romain College of Business is dually accredited by the AACSB for business and accounting and plays an important role in the economic and social development of the region. The College currently enrolls approximately 1,200 undergraduate business majors across eight different programs and more than 1,100 MBA students across seven concentration areas.
