Job Description

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with good organizational skills to support all members of the Fundraising Team and ensure the success of Technovation’s fundraising efforts. This person will report to the Director of Development and collaborate with staff across the organization. This position is ideal for an energetic self-starter with previous experience assisting a busy executive and/or working in a small team with many projects going on simultaneously.

Technovation is in the midst of a strategic planning process, which will result in ambitious fundraising goals for our Development team. We are looking for a new team member to help keep us on track towards these goals and help our team manage fundraising tasks, grant deadlines, and donor outreach.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Support the Director of Development with administrative tasks related to grants, such as updating grant progress trackers, scheduling grant-related meetings, and meeting all grant deliverable deadlines.

  • Provide logistical and administrative support to the Director of Global Events for online and in-person events that engage funders and/or corporate speakers.

    • Vendor and sponsor coordination

    • Virtual event platform set up support

    • Event material gathering and organization

    • Travel arrangements

  • Use our new Salesforce system to maintain donor/funder profiles, track communications with donors/funders and prospective donors/funders, pull reports to help us track and analyze donor engagement, and work with other fundraising team members and the marketing team to coordinate email campaigns to donor lists.

  • Manage the tracking of donor data and fundraising metrics that the fundraising team regularly uses to assess its own progress against annual targets.

  • Track fundraising event attendees through Salesforce and coordinate post-event attendee and sponsor communications.

  • Support the Director of Development with action items that come out of prospect meetings, as needed.

  • Strong Communication (able to clearly communicate questions and make sure there is clarity with all team members on the best way forward)

  • Desire to learn fast, self-motivated and organized

  • Experience tracking data, Salesforce experience ideal

  • Passionate about Technovation’s mission
