Westchester Community College was founded in 1946 as the New York State Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in White Plains. In 1957, the County of Westchester bought the 360-acre John Hartford estate in Valhalla and designated 218 acres for the community college. Westchester Community College is more than just the county's largest educational institution. Job Description:

Westchester Community College seeks a non-credit Adjunct Faculty/Customer Service to teach a Workforce Readiness Certificate Program for adults seeking to gain entry into the workforce. Students should be able to communicate their self-awareness and soft skills to potential employers upon course completion.


Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Candidates should have excellent customer service skills for corporate, non-for-profit, and other workforce settings, strong experience with human interaction, business etiquette, and 21st century technologies.


Additional Information:

HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $55.61 per hour.  No benefits.
