The Electronic Engineering (EE) Department at Royal Holloway is seeking to appoint an excellent academic to fill the role of Lecturer in Engineering Project Management for its growing and expanding portfolio of MSc in Project Management (with specialisms of Project Management, Cyber Security, Software, Sustainability). The role is full time and permanent.

We are based in a new £20m state-of-the-art building “The Beatrice Shilling”, bringing together a growing community of staff and students, an expanding portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, and research groups that are addressing exciting future technology. Our staff bring their research expertise to their teaching, and our curriculum is informed by our excellent industrial links, ensuring our degree courses are designed to meet market needs and our graduates are highly employable.
We are now recruiting for a member of academic staff to support our teaching and programme support for our MSc programmes in Project Management. The successful candidate must hold a PhD or equivalent, and will have a proven teaching and administrative record, with a broad knowledge of Engineering Project Management, Engineering Management, Operations Management. Experience in engaging with industry and contributing to outreach activities will also be valuable.
The appointee will be primarily focused on leading the design and teaching & learning activities on Engineering Project Management but may also be asked to contribute to a range of departmental activities, including primarily postgraduate teaching and project supervision over a range of Engineering Management, Project Management, Projects and Programmes, Risk Management, Operations Management topicsThis is a full-time and permanent (tenured) post, available from Sep 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter. The post will be based within the EE department with managing programme academic support and teaching across both our London Graduate School and our RHUL main campus in Egham, Surrey within commuting distance of London.
