Salary range: $106,000 to $119,000

VP of Administrative Operations Job Description
The VP of Administrative Operations will manage the internal day-to-day business operations, while partnering with the CEO on strategic organizational plans and goals. This position is responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining efficient and effective systems that meet applicable guidelines of regulating agencies. The VP of Administrative Operations will provide leadership and strategic direction for multiple agency departments.
Additionally, the VP of Administrative Operations provides leadership, vision, and direction in the development of organizational strategy in alignment with the overall culture and mission of Child & Family Center. The VP of Administrative Operations adheres and holds staff accountable to all Child & Family Center Policies and Procedures, and represents the organization in the community when needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Works in partnership with the CEO to implement processes for successful achievement of goals as laid out in the strategic plan and annual CEO goals.
  • Provides a strong leadership presence in the day to day operations of the Agency and an open door policy with employees.
  • Provides continuous evaluation of the administration and operational needs of the Agency in order to meet strategic initiatives.
  • Participates in Board of Director meetings as needed.
  • Maintains a strong community presence and acts as an ambassador for the Agency.
  • Participates in appropriate staff meetings and attends external meetings and seminars as needed.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, benchmarking professional standards, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.
  • Directs policy and procedure development and implementation related to responsible areas.
  • Collaborates across all departments to identify and lead process improvement opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness of processes and workflows in support of the strategic goals and mission.
  • Oversees completion of special projects by organizing and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules; monitoring results and escalating concerns.
  • Leads and/or participates in key Committees that support the Agency’s goals.
  • Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations concerning business administration and matters.

WORK SCHEDULE: (subject to change based on Center’s needs)

  • FLSA Status: *Exempt - Full Time
  • Work-Week: * Sunday- Saturday
  • Actual work schedule as agreed with Direct Supervisor and based on business/program needs

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:
Directly supervises lead Administrative Services staff and other departments based on Agency need.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Six (6) or more years in a leadership capacity, overseeing business administration/operations and/or office management and human resources.
  • Must possess a valid California driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record under the Clinics' liability policy. May be required to obtain a Class II California driver’s license.
  • Must pass all applicable health, fingerprint/LiveScan and DMV clearances.
