Recruiter

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development of and execution of search techniques to generate a pool of diverse candidates required for open positions as well as identifying diverse pipelines for future demand.
  • Proactively source through various social media outlets.
  • Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Review applications/resumes and conducts initial screening interviews with candidates either in person, or over the phone.
  • Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules.
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviews applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
  • Organize in-house job fairs and participate in recruiting events as needed.
  • Attend local colleges, universities job fairs and career events.
  • Maintain contact with local unemployment agencies and career services bureaus.
  • Coordinate initial onboarding process
  • Provide support for Human Resources Department
  • Update and maintains candidates information using Applicant Tracking System.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job including some weekends, holidays and inclement weather situations.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is an essential function of the job.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively with deadlines.


Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution and/or any combination of training and experience which demonstrates a capability to perform the functions of the position
  • Willingness to perform tasks with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge computer programs necessary for the position (Microsoft Suite)
  • Interest in and ability to relate positively with multiple-handicapped adolescents in school setting
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Must meet Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background check requirements
