The key role of Deputy Admissions Officer is to enhance the Admissions Office team to ensure that all the functions of the Office are successfully completed in an effective and efficient manner. In addition, an important aspect of the position is to strengthen the relationships between potential applicants and the University.

An ability to relate to and empathise with potential applicants is the key liaison dimension of the position. The effective discharge of the duties requires the development and maintenance of good working relationships particularly with external partners such as school guidance counsellors, school principals, teachers, Colleges of Further Education staff, parents as well as academic and non-academic colleagues across the university.

Salary

Administrative Officer I (2022): € 51,170 – € 73,009 p.a. pro-rata (9 points)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
