In 1957, the County of Westchester bought the 360-acre John Hartford estate in Valhalla and designated 218 acres for the community college. Job Description:

Westchester Community College seeks a non-credit adjunct to teach beginning, intermediate and advanced level swimming for adults. The incumbent may teach one or all levels. They are responsible for course instruction and learning outcomes.

 

 


Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  A minimum of 1 year experience teaching swimming to adults is required. Certified in C.P.R., A.E.D. and First Aid also required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS  Experience in all levels of swim instruction. Additional preferred credentials include certification in Water Safety Instruction.

 


Additional Information:

HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $55.61 per hour. No benefits.
