HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) ADMINISTRATOR, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), to report to the administrative officer (AO) and partner with managers to foster an engaging, productive, supportive, and positive workplace for all. Will provide comprehensive administrative management of all HR operations. Responsibilities will include counseling and advising senior leadership and staff on human resources functions, including personnel policy interpretation and administration, recruitment, performance management, compensation, and employee relations and development; providing insight and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace; generating and collaborating on creative solutions to complex problems, which may include working with a diverse group of individuals or groups in a variety of situations; and performing all HR operational processes and duties. Job Requirements:
REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; at least four years’ HR generalist experience; in-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and current HR principles, practices, and trends; ability to interpret and apply HR policies and procedures and employment laws; sound judgment and discretion with highly sensitive and confidential information; experience with diversity initiatives; strong employee-relations, customer service, organizational, analytical, active listening, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills; strong computer skills; advanced-level knowledge of MS Office applications; demonstrated ability to lead and deliver projects within a defined timeframe, manage competing short- and long-term goals and projects, work strategically, and perform duties with limited supervision.
